The 15 km long gorge is crossed by the Lousios River.
The hike in the Lousios Gorge starts from the Nea Moni Filosofou.
Our route then continues to the Monastery of Timiou Prodromos, where we take a short break to rest. Here we have the opportunity to enjoy the amazing view in the company of a Greek coffee, a usual treat of the monks.
After recovering our energy, we descend towards Ancient Gortyna with its Asklepiion, where our beautiful hike ends!

Overview
Small and large groups are trained in the necessary descent techniques, put on the necessary equipment and enter the boats to live a unique experience on two of the most beautiful rivers in Greece!
With our boats, we have the opportunity to approach otherwise inaccessible places of unique beauty, to discover the hidden wonders of the river, to have fun while paddling and to swim in the crystal clear waters.
Highlights:
We will paddle in Lousios and Alfeios rivers, which are of 2nd degree of difficulty. We will make various stops for a swim in the river’s crystal clear waters and for selfies in the densely vegetated gorge. Our ending takes place to the spectacular bridge of “Koukos” from where we will hike to a nearby waterfall.
The descent starts from the Atsicholos bridge on the Lousios river. We row in the crystal clear waters of the river in a narrow gorge.
Lush vegetation, natural springs and beautiful arched bridges complete this unique landscape.
The imposing rocks on either side of the river create exciting passages and obstacles for endless fun and big doses of adrenaline!
Our route ends at the Alfeios River and ends at the historic stone Cuckoo Bridge.

Horse Riding in Elati Arcadia
At the entrance of the enchanting Elati, next to the fir trees and the unique beauty of the forest, we will welcome you to the beautiful and picturesque area in the heart of Mainalo, in a restored wood workshop, before your ride with our calm horses begins. Enjoy our place and the walk in the Elati forest with your friends and family.
Horse riding takes place in the forest. If you come after the snows, you will be able to enjoy the waterfalls too!

Kapsia Cave
If you visit Arcadia, the Kapsia cave is a route worth doing. At a distance of about 15 kilometers from Tripoli and near the village of Kapsia, it is one of the ten most important caves in Greece.
Inside the cave, human bones and lamps were discovered, which prove that it was inhabited in ancient times, most likely during the Neolithic and Hellenistic eras, but during the 4th - 6th centuries AD. According to some researchers, the bones belong to people who drowned in the cave during a flood.
Until now, approximately 6,500 sq.m. have been explored. of the total area of the cave, while the visitable area has been properly utilized, with the right lighting and the creation of paths.

Shelter Top of Mainalo
The mountain shelter of Mainalos "Panos Alexopoulos" is located in the center of the Peloponnese, on the plateau of Ostrakina, at an altitude of 1,600 m, below the highest peak of the mountain of the same name (1,981 m).
After we depart for the mountain shelter of Mainalo where we will settle in our shared rooms we will spend free time in the warm living room and enjoy moments of peace and tranquility at 1620 m altitude.

In the morning there is an optional circular trail of 2:15 minutes with the guide Aris, the manager of the shelter and a certified mountain guide.
* For the stay at the refuge you will need an optional sleeping bag or set of sheets, pillow case.
* In case you don't have one, there is a supply from the refuge for a €3 fee.
